Dear Friends,
As the days grow longer and our community comes together to enjoy the warmth of summer, we're reminded that the brightest moments are often created when people care for one another. At Heart, Love & Soul, that commitment is reflected every day through meals, resources, and connection wtih individuals and families across Niagara Falls.
Whether you volunteer, donate, advocate, or share our story with others, your support makes this work possible. Thank you for being an essential part of the Heart, Love & Soul family. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected community. |

On Thursday, July 16, our community will come together for Give 716—Western New York's biggest day of giving, powered by the Buffalo Bills Foundation and the Buffalo Sabres Foundation.
This year, every gift to Heart, Love & Soul will go even further thanks to a $2,250 matching gift from the Western New York Foundation. That means your donation can have twice the impact as we continue providing meals, resources, and encouragement to our neighbors experiencing hunger, homelessness, and hardship.
Whether you give $10, $25, $50, or more, every dollar helps nourish lives, provide essential resources, and strengthen our community. On July 16, join us by making your gift through our Give 716 page: https://give716.org/give/give716/give716/2026-give-716/charities/heart-love-and-soul-inc Together, we can make every dollar go further and create an even greater impact for our neighbors. |

| Celebrating a Night of Generosity! |
Our 21st Annual Recognition Dinner was a memorable celebration of generosity, partnership, and the remarkable community that makes Heart, Love & Soul's mission possible. Held on June 16 at the Russell J. Salvatore Dining Commons at Niagara University, the evening brought together supporters, volunteers, community leaders, and friends who share a steadfast commitment to serving our neighbors across Niagara Falls.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed a lively program featuring a live auction, 50/50 raffle, Fund-a-Need appeal, and flash sales. While these activities helped raise critical support for our programs, the true significance of the evening was found in the collective spirit of those in attendance. Thank you for making this year's Annual Recognition Dinner such a success! |

| HLS Partners with the Goodwill of WNY! |
Heart, Love & Soul is grateful to Goodwill of Western New York for its generous donation of $2,500 in Goodwill gift cards. While we do not operate a clothing closet, we regularly meet individuals and families who need clothing, shoes, and other everyday essentials as they work toward greater stability.
These gift cards allow us to place assistance directly into the hands of our guests, giving them the opportunity to purchase the items they need most while preserving the dignity of personal choice. It is a practical and meaningful way to meet needs that extend beyond food and emergency services.
We are deeply thankful to Goodwill of Western New York for investing in our community and partnering with us to ensure our neighbors have access to the essential resources they need to move forward with confidence. |

At Heart, Love & Soul, meaningful moments often begin around the table. Throughout the summer, many of our guests have spent time in our dining room exploring their artistic talents through painting, transforming the space into one filled with conversation, self-expression, and shared experiences.
These opportunities enrich the dining room by fostering connection, encouraging personal expression, and creating a welcoming sense of belonging. They offer guests a chance to slow down, engage with one another, and discover the joy that can be found in creating something uniquely their own.
Our sincere appreciation goes to our incredible volunteers for making this inspiring program possible. Their generosity of time and talent helps create an environment where our guests can connect, create, and thrive. |

| Our Peace Garden Is Blooming! |
Our Peace Garden is officially open for the season! Following our Annual Grassroots Garden Planting Day, the garden has once again become a vibrant space where guests, volunteers, and community members can gather, connect, and watch something beautiful grow.
Last month, we were pleased to welcome Nina from Grassroots Gardens, who joined our staff, volunteers, and guests in planting a variety of fruits, vegetables, and flowers, including tomatoes, green peppers, and marigolds. Their collective efforts have transformed the garden into a welcoming space that will continue to flourish throughout the summer. |
